DKM Al Furqan UPI kembali menyelenggarakan kegiatan Festival Ramadhan 1443 H pada Jumat (22/04/2022). Kegiatan dilaksanakan di selasar depan Masjid Al-Furqon UPI. Rangkaian kegiatan pada festival ini mencakup bazaar, perlombaan, dan fashion show. Selain untuk memeriahkan bulan Ramadhan, kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan UMKM binaan UPI, EKKIP LPPM UPI, dan Gekrafs Jawa Barat melalui bazaar.
Kegiatan bazaar diikuti oleh 21 stan yang berasal dari dalam maupun luar UPI. Aneka barang dijajakan pada bazaar ini. Mulai dari makanan, pakaian, kerudung, kosmetik, serta barang-barang homemade seperti strap masker dijual dengan penawaran yang menarik. Sementara itu, perlombaan yang diselenggarakan mencakup lomba menyanyi lagu religi yang diikuti oleh karyawan, dosen, dan mahasiswa UPI. Terdapat juga lomba tingkat nasional yang dilakukan secara daring yakni, lomba kaligrafi, pembuatan desain batik, dan kegiatan rohani lainnya. Pemenang pada setiap lomba diumumkan melalui live streaming YouTube TVUPI.
Koordinator Kegiatan Bazar Ramadhan, Dr. Yuliawan Kasmahidayat, M.Si. menuturkan bahwa, dilaksanakannya festival ramadhan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kegiatan syiar Islam. “Kita harus memperhatikan koridor-koridor tertentu. Contohnya, pada kegiatan ini, area masjid dijadikan sebagai lokasi. Hal ini dapat menguatkan kegiatan-kegiatan rohani lainnya.” ujarnya. Acara ini berlangsung sejak pukul 09.00 WIB dan berakhir pada pukul 18.00 WIB.
Dr. Yuliawan menjelaskan lebih lanjut bahwa festival ramadhan ini bukan merupakan acara puncak dari rangkaian kegiatan ramadhan. Terdapat satu program terakhir yang menjadi puncak acara, yakni kegiatan bakti sosial. Bakti sosial akan dilaksanakan memasuki 10 hari terakhir ramadhan. Bentuk bakti sosial ini adalah pembagian paket-paket bingkisan yang diperuntukkan bagi masyarakat yang kurang mampu. “Target kami sesuai dengan jumlah tahun masehi yaitu 2022 paket untuk dibagikan. Saat ini telah terkumpul lebih dari 1000 paket untuk didonasikan sehingga kami mengajak khalayak untuk turut berbagi dan membantu saudara kita yang kurang mampu.”
